Northbound on U.S. 61/U.S. 14, just before the south junction with I-90. Note the direction sign for Winona and Tomah.

At the south junction with Interstate 90. This unusual interchange dates back to 1964. The southbound ramp leading from I-90 is on the far left. The lane to the immediate left of the center island is the connection between the Dresbach rest area and southbound U.S. 61, which also provides the only connection between I-90 westbound and U.S. 61 southbound.

Approaching the Interstate 90 overpass. MnDOT has classified this bridge as "functionally obsolete".

Approaching the entrance to the Dresbach Rest Area and the ramp onto Interstate 90. The stoplight is a recent addition.

The main building of the Dresbach Information and Rest Area, constructed in the early 1970's.

Lock and Dam No. 7 as seen from the rest area, looking northeast.

Looking southwest at the exit from the Dresbach Information and Rest Area, showing the signage motorists are confronted with.

Looking north up the ramp onto I-90.
