A closer view of the Con-Agra Flour Mill, the oldest continuously operating mill in Minnesota. The original building was opened in the 1853 on the falls of the Vermillion River (info from the Dakota County Historical Society).


Looking north on U.S. 61 after crossing the Vermillion River. Also known as Vermillion Street, U.S. 61 through Hastings has been a divided highway since 1927. It was last reconstructed back in 1981.
