Modern Highway Photos: Between Red Wing and Lake City

Just a couple of shots of scenery along the two-lane section of U.S. 61/U.S. 63 between Red Wing and Lake City, taken while driving to LaCrosse.
Looking southwest across U.S. 61/U.S. 63 near Wacouta between Red Wing and
Lake City at the west end of Hillside Drive (and incidentally also part of the original alignment of U.S. 61, see the article here for more info).
Another view from the same location. This section of the highway has been
adopted by the "Republican Eagle", a newspaper based out of Red
Wing.
