Comments:

  • Gousha finally took over the reverse side of the map in 1953, adding new-style city insets to replace the format in use since 1946. These were arranged in a grid surrounding a national highway map.
  • The 1953 map was returned to the traditional folding pattern after the experiment of 1952.
