Modern Highway Photos: At the I-494 Interchange, Newport

A couple of shots of the new interchange of U.S. 61/U.S. 10 with I-494 while still under construction.
Looking southeast on the temporary ramp between southbound U.S. 61/U.S. 10
and westbound I-494 (the cars in the center of the photo are on U.S. 61/U.S.
10). Note the massive retaining wall in the distance. The intersection of
Bailey Road with Hastings Avenue is visible on the extreme left on top of
the hill.
A rather awkward shot, looking west towards the old Wakota Bridge, now demolished.
