Comments:

  • The mileage chart on the front of the map has been reversed to have the cities listed on the bottom. This type of chart is still in use on official maps today.
  • The style of Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul inset still in use today was first introduced.
  • This was the last map to have dual covers until 1979.
  • This was the last map to show the "Hiawatha Pioneer Trail" introduced in 1966.
